My name is Tiffany Mitchell, and I am happy to announce the premier of the Designing with Sketches Website! Let me tell you a little about myself and my book.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Tracey. We have two handsome boys, ages 8 and 5. I have been scrapbooking for about 11 years. I have been published in the following publications:

I have been on two design teams for local scrapbook stores in Idaho. In February 2007, I decided to publish a scrapbook idea book. Thus the beginning of "Designing with Sketches".
Designing with Sketches is a 100+ page, spiral bound idea book that contains 100 sketches. Included in the book are sketches for CARDS, SINGLE PAGE LAYOUTS, DOUBLE PAGE LAYOUTS, and ALBUMS. Each section is designated by a tabbed page for easy navigation! Each sketch has two sample layouts showing different page sizes and color options. Every page has additional scrapbooking tips and tricks to make your page extraordinary!!
My favorite thing about this book is that there is something for everyone!
- There are ideas for beginning scrapbookers to the most advanced.
- Layout sizes 6x6, 8x8, 9x9, and 12x12.
- Multiple card sizes: 6x6 or standard.
- Four home decor projects
- Sketches to make an entire album!
- A sketch pad in the back of the book allows you to sketch your own ideas.
- There are layouts from local designers as well as celebrity scrapbookers. (Lisa Bearnson from Creating Keepsakes, Debbie Hill, and Mary Russo from Junkitz)
The purpose of this blog is to help you learn more about Designing with Sketches, have the ability to purchase the book, and to share scrapbooking ideas.
